SDI Inactive Diver / PADI ReActivate Diver

Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher?

Update your dive skills and knowledge with a quick scuba refresher from the Open Water diver course before jumping back into the water.

The SDI Inactive Diver or PADI ReActivate programmes are the perfect way to update your dive knowledge and review your basic scuba skills. Whether you just need a few reminders or want a more comprehensive review, these programmes will provide an engaging, prescriptive refresher of scuba principles and procedures.

PADI ReActivate

The PADI ReActivate program has two components – A knowledge review that includes interacting with ReActivate eLearning and a dive skills refresher you complete with a PADI Professional.

After successfully completing both components, a PADI Diver receives a replacement certification card showing a “ReActivated Thru” date.

Divers initially certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition Cards.

SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher

The SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher program is designed to update and review the knowledge and skill level of an inactive diver.

SDI encourages the use of this program for instructors, assistant instructors, and resorts or dive facilities that have questions regarding the diving history of an individual.

This SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher program can also be used as a catalyst for continuing education programs.

Learning to scuba dive has never been more convenient!

So you want to learn to dive but would prefer to do the course somewhere warmer than the UK.

On the other hand, you don’t want to spend days of your holiday completing the theory and confined water portions of the course.

ScubaQuest has the perfect solution – complete the knowledge development and the confined water portions of the Open Water Diver course before you travel and undertake the four qualifying open water dives in warmer climes at your holiday destination with an open water referral course.

Scuba Diver & Turtle

Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge; development, facts, principles, concepts, and practical application; skills, techniques, methods.

The online theory of the Open Water Diver Course provides the knowledge development portion you need with the flexibility to undertake the learning at your own convenience.

Following a theory review and equipment introduction, your ScubaQuest instructor will take you through all the confined water skills in the comfort and safety of a swimming pool in readiness for your open water dives at your holiday destination.

On successful completion of the confined water skills, you will be provided with a record of your training to present to your chosen dive centre at your holiday destination. They will then take you through the open water dives and skills required for certification.

I’ve completed the open water theory and confined water skills and just need to complete the open water dives.

If you have previously undertaken the open water theory and confined water skills portions of the Open Water Diver course and need to complete the open water dives to achieve the full certification, ScubaQuest can help with this. Please contact us for further information.
