The ScubaQuest website follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
We have accounts on most major social media channels and use their 'public' platforms to manage our social media interactions
We don't have any control over how these companies use any data shared with us through their services, and we recommend you review their privacy notices yourself. We'd also remind you that any information you post publicly is visible to anyone.
No information you give us via social media posts/messages will be used for marketing or shared with any other organisations for marketing purposes.

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
ScubaQuest Ltd does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
If you have made a purchase from us we store your personal information for a minimum of 7 years as HMRC and other government bodies require us to keep transactional and invoicing records for this length of time.
If you have requested information from us via our website or via phone we will store your personal data on file for a minimum of 1 year, but we will not send marketing information to you unless you have given us permission to do so.
There may be circumstances when we need to keep your data for longer. If we hold your data for any other reason we'll delete it as soon as we no longer have a valid reason to retain it.
