HSE Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) usecombined into one program. It is designed to teach adults and minors the currently accepted first aid practices to safely administer CPR, first aid, and utilize an AED in emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults  for the purpose of complying with the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981and Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982

Taught over one day, it will provide you with a comprehensive knowledge and skill set to enable you to provide care in an emergency and be able to respond to casualties suffering conditions including cardiac arrest, scalds and burns, choking, minor and severe bleeding, musculoskeletal injuries, and stroke.
