The Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures course is the foundation course in technical diving.
All technical dive training taken after this course is completed builds on the skills and attitudes learned while undertaking the Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures course.
The Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures course examines the theory, methods, and procedures of planned staged decompression diving.
The course objective is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45m using staged nitrox up to 100% to accelerate the decompression.
This is the ideal course for diving in Scapa Flow and many of the UK’s coastal wrecks.
Please note: Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures can both be facilitated as standalone courses in their own right. Please contact us if this is something you are interested in.
45 meters maximum utilising up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression.
The Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Course is performance based.
The technical diver training, provided by ScubaQuest, will certify students to the recognised international standards provided by Technical Diving International (TDI).
The course is completed over four days with a minimum of six dives, with two dives below 30m.
Due to the nature of the course a flexible and personalised approach to the schedule will be applied based on the previous experience and pace of the student.
Technical Courses by their very nature require a tailored approach and in some cases the need to have a minimum number of students participating to make the course an effective learning experience. Technical courses will be scheduled based on demand and customer requirements.
Please contact ScubaQuest to discuss scheduling options.
